This role requires in-depth knowledge of marine electrical systems, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, install, and maintain electrical systems and equipment on yachts, cruise ships, and cargo ships.
- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with naval architects, marine engineers, and other technical staff to develop and implement electrical system designs and modifications.
- Oversee the installation and testing of electrical equipment, including generators, propulsion systems, and navigation systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with marine safety regulations and industry standards, providing technical support and training to crew members and other personnel as needed, and managing and coordinating with external vendors and contractors for electrical system upgrades and repairs.
