Job Description

The Ghobash Group is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and executing testing and commissioning activities for electrical and instrumentation systems.

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and execute comprehensive testing and commissioning procedures for electrical and instrumentation systems in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.

  2. Conduct functional tests, system integration tests, loop checks, and site acceptance tests (SAT) to ensure seamless system operation.

  3. Identify and troubleshoot technical issues related to electrical and instrumentation systems during testing and commissioning phases.

  4. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications throughout the testing and commissioning process.

  5. Maintain detailed records of test results, commissioning processes, and documentation.

  6. Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and clients to facilitate smooth commissioning processes and ensure timely project delivery.

  7. Provide technical support and training to end-users or operators on system functionality and operation.

  8. Adhere to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines during all commissioning activities.

  9. Verify the functionality of electrical and instrumentation equipment before handover.

  10. Recommend modifications or improvements based on test results and operational feedback.
