About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Internal Audit to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our internal audit function and ensuring that our business operations are in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Internal Audit Projects: Develop and execute comprehensive audit plans to assess the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify and evaluate potential risks to our business, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with Business Units: Work closely with our business leaders to understand their operations and provide guidance on audit and compliance matters.
  • Develop and Implement Audit Plans: Design and implement audit plans that meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Communicate Audit Findings: Present audit findings and recommendations to our leadership team and business units.
Requirements
  • UAE National with a Family Book: We require a UAE national with a valid family book.
  • Professional Certification: A professional certification such as CIA, CPA, or CISA is preferred.
  • 8+ Years of Experience: You should have at least 8 years of relevant internal audit experience, preferably in the financial services sector.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: You should have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Leadership Skills: You should be able to lead audit projects effectively and work independently.
