Key Responsibilities- Protocol Management: Coordinate the implementation and conduct of research projects, ensuring timely completion of documents, development of data capture and monitoring plans, and reporting of Serious Adverse Events as they occur.
- Liaison and Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between investigators, research personnel, and research administration office to assist in protocol interpretation, enrollment, and safety questions.
- Patient Care: Utilize the nursing process as a basis for patient care, directing, coordinating, and participating in the evaluation and supervision of nursing care provided to research subjects.
- Assessment and Documentation: Assess research subjects, complete nursing assessments, document findings in research subject records, and notify physicians of abnormal findings.
- Care Planning: Establish care plans in collaboration with research subjects, family, and research team.
- Ongoing Care: Coordinate ongoing care, identify discharge needs, and facilitate discharge planning as appropriate.
- Triage and Procedures: Perform telephone triage, perform nursing procedures and treatments as directed by physicians, and administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Standards of Care: Evaluate, initiate, and maintain standards of care consistent with CCAD policies and procedures.
- Specialized Equipment: Assist with specialized patient care equipment as required by the clinical research protocol.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A bachelor's degree in nursing and current licensure to practice in the UAE are required.
