Job Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Pediatric Eye Specialist to become a vital part of our team at Talent Shark in Dubai. This role focuses on the assessment, treatment, and management of ocular conditions affecting children from infancy to adolescence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations of pediatric patients' ocular health and visual functions.
  • Identify and manage a variety of pediatric eye disorders, including but not limited to refractive errors, strabismus, amblyopia, congenital anomalies, and hereditary eye conditions.
  • Execute surgical interventions as required, such as strabismus correction, pediatric cataract procedures, and other relevant surgeries.
  • Prescribe appropriate corrective lenses, medications, or therapeutic interventions.
  • Track patient progress and modify treatment strategies as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including pediatricians, optometrists, and orthoptists, to ensure holistic care.
  • Provide education to patients and their families regarding ocular health, treatment alternatives, and preventive strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree from a recognized institution.
  • Completed residency in Ophthalmology.
  • Fellowship training or significant experience in Pediatric Ophthalmology.
  • Board certification in Ophthalmology with a focus on Pediatric Ophthalmology is preferred.
  • Valid medical practice license in Dubai, UAE.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with patients and their families.
