As a Senior Compensation Consultant at Amazon, you will play a critical role in supporting the compensation needs of the MEA Corporate and Stores organization. You will work closely with People eXperience and Technology (PXT) Partners and Management to achieve objectives and provide hands-on assistance related to all areas of compensation.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement compensation programs, including program design, analysis, budgeting, and implementation.
- Conduct in-depth analysis on the effectiveness and competitiveness of existing compensation programs and model potential impact of alternatives.
- Partner with HR and Business clients to manage, consult, and resolve compensation issues.
- Provide guidance to the business and develop creative solutions on a variety of total compensation issues, including pay levels, base pay, annual incentive pay, and stock compensation.
- Conduct job evaluations using market data and internal evaluation.
- Develop and implement strategies, designs, policies, guidelines, and operationalization of key compensation concepts.
- 7+ years of experience in Human Resources, Compensation Management, or Consulting with in-depth knowledge of core compensation terminology and best practices.
- Good understanding of the principles and practices of compensation and benefits systems and legislation in the Middle East region.
- Bachelor's degree.
