The Accommodation Operations Manager is responsible for the effective management of staff housing facilities within the hospitality sector. This role encompasses a variety of essential functions aimed at ensuring a safe, clean, and secure living environment for employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facility Management: Oversee daily operations of staff accommodation, ensuring maintenance, cleanliness, and security standards are met.
  • Inspections: Conduct regular assessments to verify compliance with health, safety, and quality regulations.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Address maintenance concerns promptly and facilitate necessary repairs.
  • Inventory Management: Manage supplies and equipment essential for the upkeep of accommodations.
  • Staff Liaison: Serve as the primary contact for staff regarding accommodation-related inquiries and issues.
  • Conflict Resolution: Assist staff in resolving accommodation conflicts and managing room assignments.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate documentation related to occupancy, maintenance activities, and financial expenditures.
  • Reporting: Prepare necessary reports and presentations for management review.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with Human Resources and Finance to ensure smooth operations and adherence to policies.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a housing management role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a cluster capacity.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly the MS Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards governing staff accommodations is preferred.
