About the Role
Amazon's vision is to protect customers from products that are illegal, unsafe or non-compliant. The Compliance and Safety team for the Middle East, Africa, and Türkiye Region is seeking a highly skilled Risk Manager to manage our product and food compliance policies to protect our customers from non-compliant products.

This role is responsible for creating and driving a roadmap of risk policies and controls across business, legal, compliance, operations, tech, and other cross-functional teams globally. The Risk Manager will own program level metrics and ensure success by leading risk initiatives, prioritization discussions, and reporting.

The ideal candidate will have experience in compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience. Strong communication skills, fluency in Turkish and English language, and ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the compliance & safety program, leveraging automation and data analytics where possible.
  2. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics, develop reporting mechanisms, and regularly communicate progress, risks, and mitigation plans to cross-functional leadership.
  3. Partner with cross-functional teams to define clear project requirements, establish timelines, manage dependencies, and ensure successful and timely execution.
  4. Identify, design, and implement scalable solutions to eliminate manual processes.
