Our client is a leading global investor, based in the Middle East. They are looking for a Data Analyst to come into the Value Creation team - working across investment strategies, allocations, and analysis of the Capital Solutions portfolio. This position will work closely with investment teams.

What the job involves

  • Conducting in-depth analysis of the Capital Solutions portfolio to identify trends and opportunities
  • Collaborating with investment teams to formulate investment strategy and allocations
  • Managing the portfolio roll-up model and updating portfolio data across internal databases to ensure seamless data integration
  • Monitoring and analyzing investment contributions and distributions to optimize portfolio performance
  • Preparing comprehensive cash flow forecasts to inform investment decisions
  • Working closely with internal functions to ensure smooth operation between front, middle, and back office
  • Interacting with the fund's central data mining functions to establish data mining protocols and drive business insights
  • Coordinating key performance metrics with benchmark data providers and monitoring data from external service providers to ensure data accuracy and integrity

Who we are looking for

  • Experience in a Credit / Hedge / Private Equity fund or Asset Management firm with a strong focus on data-driven decision making
  • Experience in data consolidation projects with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results
  • Experience analyzing portfolio positions, forecasting cash flows, and identifying areas for improvement
  • Strong ability in managing data aggregation and analysis projects to drive business insights and inform investment decisions
  • Good quantitative, accounting, finance, and data analytics experience with a strong understanding of financial markets and instruments
  • Prior experience interacting with front office teams on a regular basis to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
  • A degree from a top-tier university, ideally within business or a quantitative focused discipline
