Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to support the delivery of multiple civil infrastructure and utility design projects for our land development portfolio in the UAE.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full life-cycle of projects, ensuring successful completion from inception to end, including project kick-off, designing, execution, and completion.
  • Implement controls over project cost, schedule, scope, quality of work, and project controls.
  • Ensure compliance with Mott MacDonald's internal controls policies and review health and safety plans with the Health and Safety Manager.
  • Collect data on critical work progress, identifying problems and delays that may impact the work.
  • Report on progress against pre-identified milestones and deliver presentations on project status.
  • Manage bids from start to finish, ensuring successful completion.
  • Mentor staff, providing leadership and a positive working environment.
  • Monitor and review compliance with management system requirements and report findings.
  • Build and maintain key relationships internally and externally.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; a Master's Degree in Project Management would be an advantage.
  • Prior experience in managing infrastructure projects for land development in the Middle East.
  • Experience in delivering projects in the UAE, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing multi-disciplinary projects, including infrastructure design.
  • Solid knowledge of building regulations, renewable technologies, and sustainable propositions.
  • Membership of an internationally recognized professional engineering body.
  • Able to assess situations in the context of the full business ecosystem.
  • Strong practical approach to project management, able to work collaboratively with clients and contractors.
