Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Strategy: Develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance framework, ensuring all policies align with regulatory requirements.
  • Regulatory Relationships: Manage regulatory relationships, including audits, inspections, and reporting requirements.
  • Financial Crime Risk Management: Investigate financial crime risks, working closely with regulators, law enforcement, and internal teams.
  • AML/CFT Framework: Oversee the firm's AML/CFT framework, ensuring adherence to ADGM's financial crime prevention standards.
  • Transaction Monitoring: Lead transaction monitoring, conducting risk assessments and filing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) when required.
  • Regulatory Filings: Prepare and submit regulatory filings to ADGM/FSRA, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Global Compliance Initiatives: Support global compliance initiatives, including cross-border product distribution and broker risk management.

Requirements:

  • 5+ Years Compliance experience within Financial Services - Ideally coming from an Investment, Fintech, or Brokerage background.
  • Strong understanding of ADGM/FSRA regulations and global compliance standards.
  • Proven track record as a Compliance Officer & MLRO, whilst being FSRA authorised.
  • AML certifications (ACAMS, ICA, or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with regulators and senior leadership.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Fluency in English.
