Requirements

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Expert to join our team at IHG Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our facilities team, you'll be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our hotel's mechanical systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. Your expertise in mechanical systems, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting will be crucial in maintaining our high standards of service quality and guest satisfaction.

You'll work closely with our Engineering Manager, collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify and address any issues that may impact our operations. Your strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment will be essential in this role.

Essential Responsibilities
  1. Maintain and repair mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  2. Develop and implement effective maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize resource allocation.
  3. Collaborate with engineering staff to develop and implement energy-saving initiatives.
  4. Perform routine inspections of plant and equipment to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
