Project Development Manager

  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration: Lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration to drive project success.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit project reports and documentation as required.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, MSc, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in power project development, with a focus on the Middle East market.
  • Skills: Proven track record of successfully developing and executing large-scale power projects; extensive experience in pre-FID activities; strong understanding of power generation technologies and related infrastructure; excellent project management skills; demonstrated leadership capabilities; exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills; proficiency in financial analysis, modelling, and investment appraisal techniques; in-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing power and desalination projects in the Middle East.
  • Language: Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic or other languages a plus.
