Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled RPM Mechanic to join our team at Marriott International. As an RPM Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining the technical attention of our quest rooms and public areas within the RPM –technician program.

Key Responsibilities

* Complete daily and weekly maintenance tasks to the allotted quota of guest rooms and public areas.

* Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the RPM –technician trolley.

* Order supplies for the trolley as needed.

* Record work completed and maintain accurate records.

* Cooperate with and assist other tradesmen as directed.

* Advise the Duty Engineer/ACE on major repair/changes required.

* Learn firefighting and safety precautions and operate firefighting equipment.

* Work in a safe manner concerning guests, employees, self, and equipment as well as property.

* Ensure the work area is left in a safe condition and proper use and security of RPM –technician equipment and trolley.

* Maintain all equipment within the department.

* Implement all relevant aspects of Health and Safety legislation and company procedures.

* Attend internal and external courses beneficial for the job.

* Carry out reasonable requests made by management in the undertaking of any duties within the Hotel.

Requirements

* Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.

* At least 2 years of related work experience.

* No supervisory experience.

* None
