PositionSummary

Duties &Responsibilities

Responsible formaintenance/technical attention within the RPM –technician program to quest rooms and publicareas.

Completes the RPM –technician maintenance tasks to the allotted daily quota of guestrooms and the weekly schedule of publicareas.

Keeps RPM – techniciantrolley clean, tidy and properlystocked.

Initiates orders for supplies fortrolley

Maintains records of workcompleted.Cooperates with and assists other tradesmen asdirected.

Advises Duty Engineer/ACE concerningmajor repair/changes required.

Learnsfirefighting and safety precautions and how to operate thefirefighting equipment.

Works in a safe mannerconcerning guests, employees, self and equipment as well asproperty.

Ensures that work area is left insafe condition and the proper use and security of RPM –technician equipment and trolley.

Responsiblefor the maintenance of all equipment within thedepartment.

Is aware of and implement allrelevant aspects of Health and Safety-legislation and companyprocedures relating thereto.

Attends anyinternal and external course that management may deem as beneficialfor his/her job.

Carries out any reasonablerequest made by the management in the undertaking of any dutieswithin the Hotel.

PreferredQualifications

Education:Technical, Trade, or Vocational SchoolDegree.

Related Work Experience: At least 2years of related work experience.

SupervisoryExperience: No supervisory experience.

Licenseor Certification: None
