Job Description

**Job Title:** Site Architect - Project Lead

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Architect to lead our project team and ensure the successful delivery of architectural projects.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Project Coordination: Lead the coordination process with other disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Technical Support: Assist the Resident Engineer in performing contractual duties on site and provide technical support as needed.
  • Document Management: Process contract documents and assist with contract administration to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Design Development: Develop, modify, and review production drawings and construction documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Design Review: Correct and update design documents to ensure they meet project requirements.
  • Technical Resource: Serve as an architectural resource for the Design department and provide technical expertise as needed.
  • Problem-Solving: Provide resolution for technical engineering problems within the assigned discipline(s) and coordinate application of solutions to ensure project progress.
  • Technical Advice: Advise the project manager of any technical aspects of the architectural works that may affect construction progress, quality, and other project-related matters.
  • Quality Control: Monitor the interior architectural works for conformance with contract documents and procedures manual.
  • Shop Drawings and Submittals: Review and process all shop drawings and architectural technical submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • RFI Response: Answer RFI's related to interior and architecture to ensure timely resolution.
  • Construction Submittals: Review construction submittals from project inception to close-out to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Contractor Review: Review Contractor's installation method statements, shop drawings, and material proposals against specified technical performance requirements.
  • Subcontractor Review: Review Contractor's proposed subcontractors associated with the engineering works from a technical standpoint.
  • Procurement and Delivery: Monitor procurement and deliveries to ensure timeliness in support of construction activities and schedule within the assigned discipline.
  • Site Observation: Undertake general project site observation/inspection of the works for Contractor's adherence to approved shop drawings and Consultant's specification, good working practices, the construction schedule, and health & safety.
  • Snagging and De-Snagging: Lead the snagging and de-snagging process with an aim to progress the works to completion through this process.
  • Meetings and Instructions: Attend project, site progress, and any related technical meetings as directed by the project manager and prepare draft site/engineer's instructions as required.
