About the Role:

XAD Technologies is seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Mason to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of masonry tasks on solar sites, including laying bricks, blocks, and stones, and applying mortar and other adhesives to create structures such as walls, floors, and walkways.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and materials needed for each project.
  • Masonry Construction: Measure and mark surfaces to be covered and construct masonry structures according to specifications.
  • Material Preparation and Application: Prepare and lay bricks, blocks, or stones using various tools and techniques, such as cutting and shaping materials to fit corners and edges.
  • Structural Integrity: Apply mortar or other adhesives to secure materials and create a strong bond.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair and maintain existing masonry structures, including replacing damaged bricks or stones and repairing mortar joints.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of materials used and work performed.

Requirements:
