Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our team at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City - SSMC. As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of patients through our healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining a Professional Attitude and Appearance

Our ideal candidate will maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times, providing a positive and respectful experience for our patients and colleagues.

Providing Exceptional Customer Service

You will demonstrate strong customer service skills, interacting positively with external and internal customers, and ensuring their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.

Scheduling and Registration Activities

As a Patient Access Representative, you will perform scheduling and registration activities, gathering demographic, insurance, and other information from patients and accurately entering it into our healthcare information system.

Verifying Financial Eligibility

You will verify financial eligibility and ensure the completion of supported documents/approvals upon scheduling/registration activities completion.

Performing Billing and Reconciliation Activities

Our ideal candidate will perform billing, reconciliation, and cashier activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing of patient accounts.

Multitasking in a Fast-Paced Environment

You will be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.

Developing and Meeting Personal and Team Targets

As a Patient Access Representative, you will develop and meet personal and team qualitative and quantitative targets, contributing to the success of our team and the organization as a whole.

Participating in Departmental Meetings and Activities

You will participate in departmental meetings and activities, staying informed about organizational initiatives and contributing to the development of new ideas and solutions.

Working Flexible Shifts

Our ideal candidate will be willing to work flexible shifts, including morning and night shifts, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of our patients and the organization.

Participating in Cross-Functional Teams and Committees

You will participate in cross-functional teams and committees, collaborating with colleagues from other departments to achieve common goals and objectives.

Facilitating Ongoing Training

As a Patient Access Representative, you will facilitate and participate in ongoing training, staying up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in patient access and healthcare.

Performing Other Tasks as Required

You will perform any other tasks as required, contributing to the smooth operation of our healthcare system and delivering exceptional patient care.

Liaising with Other Staff and Departments

Our ideal candidate will liaise with other staff and departments, communicating effectively and building strong relationships to ensure seamless patient care.
