Operational Responsibilities

  • Implements and guides team members on inventory oversight and vendor management processes, which includes creating, assessing, and processing orders.
  • Records all incoming shipments while the supplier is present, focusing on individual package receipts. Takes necessary actions to confirm delivery status, contacting suppliers for any outstanding deliveries, and initiating corrections for inaccurate orders.
  • Under the direction of the pharmacist-in-charge, ensures all pharmacy deliveries are accurately recorded for items received at the location. Completes or verifies postings for all pharmacy warehouse orders, prescription and over-the-counter orders on a daily basis, and manages secondary vendor orders, ensuring accurate reporting of any discrepancies.
  • Manages the On-Shelf Availability (OSA) process comprehensively, covering both warehouse and direct store deliveries for planned departments, executing disposals, vendor returns, and managing items before expiration.
  • In collaboration with the pharmacist-in-charge, conducts pharmacy inventory tasks, including recalls and returns, and facilitates interstore transfers for non-returnable overstock items. Ensures accurate posting of all pharmacy claims.
  • Executes all pricing tasks, including adjustments and markdowns, ensuring accurate pricing and signage across departments.
  • Supports ordering processes for front-end and pharmacy items, monitoring for excess orders and maintaining consigned inventory.
  • Ensures all designated pull and quarantine items are accurately tracked and stored in the appropriate areas.
  • Maintains precise inventory counts, ensuring accuracy across all stock locations.
  • Under the supervision of the pharmacist-in-charge, ensures compliance with inventory regulations pertaining to controlled products.
  • Assists in maintaining inventory records, including the documentation of all products received and managing necessary paperwork for inventory activities.
  • Prepares for physical inventory counts and assists with the inventory process, ensuring all areas are ready for auditing.
  • Supports cleanliness and organization of all counters and shelves.
  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of all store systems and equipment.
  • Guides and supports team members in package delivery processes, ensuring all daily inventory functions are completed accurately.
  • When acting as the leader on duty, manages all sales transactions on the point-of-sale system, ensuring accuracy in all financial records.
  • Adheres to all company policies and fosters respectful relationships with colleagues.
  • Completes additional tasks as assigned.

Training & Development

  • Participates in company training programs for ongoing development and completes all required e-learning modules.
  • Obtains and maintains necessary certifications as required by state regulations.

Communication

  • Acts as a communication bridge between management and team members, providing coaching and support on inventory systems. When in a leadership role, assigns tasks and addresses any issues that arise.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of experience in a retail environment.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Experience in identifying operational challenges and implementing solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in roles such as shift lead, pharmacy technician, or customer service representative is preferred.
  • Additional relevant experience is advantageous.
