Key Responsibilities:
  • Engineering Quality Assurance: Oversee the development of civil and structural steel design concepts, ensuring proper application and execution.
  • Scope of Work Development: Develop scope of work documents related to civil works, site preparation, facility infrastructure, camps, topographical and geotechnical surveys, etc.
  • Contractor Support: Assist Contractor's teams in producing engineering/construction documents that meet project requirements within the allocated schedule and budget.
  • Quality Control: Verify Contractor's work quality regarding specifications, reports, code application, submittal review, deliverables, and drawings.
  • Technical Bid Evaluations: Carry out technical bid evaluations to ensure contractor compliance with project specifications.
  • Design Optimization: Reconcile any conflicting design requirements by providing solutions for alignment.
  • Technical Support: Respond to Contractor technical queries, technical deviation, and concession requests.
  • Design Updates: Provide technical responses to Contractor's variation requests.
  • Project Management: Manage work plans and deliverables on multiple projects within budgeted hours.
  • Design Development: Develop design concepts and basic engineering deliverables for new projects.
  • Construction Audits: Audit construction activities and assure that the works are in accordance with specifications.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other disciplines to optimize design.
