Xeluxe Fire Safety Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled HVAC Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our MEP Engineering department, you will be responsible for providing FLS compliance services to clients with a focus on HVAC, Smoke Management, LPG systems, and Fire Protection.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide engineering reviews for HVAC and Smoke Management systems, ensuring efficient compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and construction contractors to integrate and optimize HVAC Smoke Management systems in building designs.
- Review and assess technical documentation and system reports for compliance with Saudi Building Code, Saudi Fire Code, NFPA Codes/Standards, and local UAE fire and safety codes.
- Conduct and supervise installations, ensuring conformity with engineering designs and standards.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of industry standards, including ASHRAE, ARI, NEMA, SMACNA, API, and Client General Standards design codes and standards.
- Lead effective meetings and negotiate terms for the benefit of the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Working knowledge in the use of AutoCAD or MicroStation software.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Specialized courses in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer are highly desired.
- Professional certifications from recognized bodies such as the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) or similar are highly desired but not mandatory.
