About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Controller to join our team at Danone. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial support to our regional team, ensuring accurate forecasting and closing of financial results.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Planning and Analysis: Prepare and analyze budget and monthly financial forecasts, identifying variances and risks.
  2. Monthly Closing Activities: Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly closing processes, including reporting and analysis.
  3. Financial Systems and Reporting: Work with finance systems, including SAP, Essbase, TTM, Power BI, and Excel, to provide financial insights and support.
  4. Business Partnership: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop business cases for new product launches, pricing, and portfolio management.
  5. Trade and Marketing Investments: Track and analyze trade and marketing investments to optimize business performance.
  6. Business Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  7. Internal Control: Establish and maintain internal control safeguards to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  1. Financial Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in business controlling, preferably in a multinational FMCG company.
  2. Financial Skills: Strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and knowledge of financial principles, including P&L, Gross to Net Sales, and accounting basics.
  3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Essbase, SAP, PowerPoint, and Power BI, with the ability to learn new systems and tools.
  4. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work in a team and at a distance.
