Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Marketing Team in maintaining and implementing an effective filing and administrative system for all matters related to sponsorship and event organization.
  2. Identify and maintain a general database of potential sponsors for all events.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential sponsors and clients through effective negotiation and communication skills.
  4. Write and formulate all correspondence related to sponsorship proposals, negotiations, and letters of thanks.
  5. Assist the Marketing Team in handling events with the concerned departments within the Hotel.
  6. Ensure the timely and efficient distribution of all materials provided by sponsors.
  7. Maintain effective working relationships with all members of target media.
  8. Host members of the media, strategic partners, and top clients at property functions and events.
  9. Assist in the production of all promotional material.
  10. Take photographs of all internal functions and VIP visits.
  11. Attend all events and promotions.
  12. Submit a monthly report to the Country Director of Marketing and Communications.
  13. Attend division and general meetings whenever required.
  14. Undertake additional duties as required by management.
  15. Promote efficiency, confidence, courtesy, and high standards of social skills.
  16. Promote and ensure good inter-departmental relations.
  17. Display a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times.
  18. Demonstrate pride in the workplace and personal appearance.
  19. Adhere to Company and Hotel rules and regulations.
  20. Report any equipment failures/problems to the Maintenance Department.
  21. Pass any maintenance requests to the Maintenance Department.
  22. Participate in any Training/Development schemes as recommended by senior management.
  23. Assist the Duty Manager in any tasks outlined by him/her.
  24. Ensure that the standards required by Law and by Management are maintained.
