The B&S Group is seeking an experienced and skilled individual to fill the role of Shop Floor Assistant Manager. As a key member of our retail team, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional service to travelers and contributing to the overall success of our retail shop at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
Responsibilities:
- Providing excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assisting customers with product inquiries, recommendations, and purchases, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment including product displays and merchandising.
- Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system, handling cash, credit card payments, and refunds.
- Monitoring stock levels and replenishing merchandise on the shop floor as needed to ensure availability and visibility of products.
- Assisting with receiving and unpacking deliveries, checking the quality and quantity of goods received, and updating inventory records.
- Collaborating with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the retail shop.
- Following company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.
- Staying informed about product features, promotions, and special offers to effectively communicate information to customers.
- Assisting with occasional tasks such as store opening and closing procedures, as well as periodic stock takes and inventory counts.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- Previous experience in retail or customer service roles is preferred.
- A friendly and outgoing personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Flexibility to work shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays based on the needs of the business.
- Knowledge of retail operations and familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required; additional language skills (such as Arabic, Hindi, Tagalog, etc.) are advantageous.
- Must be eligible to work at Abu Dhabi International Airport and possess any required security clearances.
