Senior Java Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Engineer to join our team at Dicetek LLC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient software systems using Java and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality Java software applications using Spring Framework, JEE, and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain cloud-native microservices using AWS components such as API Gateway, Fargate, S3, DynamoDB, and SNS.
  • Implement resilient microservices using design patterns and ensure high availability and scalability.
  • Work with industry-standard security concepts like Cryptography, Certificates, Vaults, Key rotation, OAuth, JWT, and MFA.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide fixes by following best practices.
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve our software development processes and tools.
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of experience in developing Enterprise Web services using JEE, Spring Framework, and REST/ SOAP standards.
  • 5+ years of experience in distributed architecture-based application development using Spring-based Microservices with NoSQL DB.
  • Strong experience in developing cloud-native Microservice applications for AWS cloud.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing resilient microservices by following design patterns.
  • Hands-on experience in AWS components like API Gateway, Fargate, S3, DynamoDB, SNS, etc.
  • Technical expertise in Spring Framework (Core, Boot, Data, MVC) and Web Services (REST, SOAP) supporting high volume transactions in a distributed environment.
  • Thorough experience in writing high-quality code with full automated unit test coverage (Junit, Mockito, etc.).
  • Experience in troubleshooting issues and providing fixes by following best practices.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Proficient with tools like Swagger, WebSphere, Maven/Gradle, GIT Lab, IntelliJ IDEA, STS, SonarQube, Checkmarx, etc.
  • Experience with multi-threading and performance tuning.
  • Working experience in Industry Standard protocols related API Security including OAuth is a must.
  • Strong design and programming skills using JSON, Web Services, XML, XSLT, PL/SQL in Unix and Windows environments.
  • Working knowledge with Relational DB like Oracle, DB2 and NoSQL like DynamoDB, Elasticsearch or MongoDB databases.
