Job Overview

The Water Quality Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of animals, colleagues, contractors, and guests within the theme park's operations.

This position requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 45kgs, working with hazardous chemicals, and navigating confined spaces.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance services for Aquatic Life Support Systems (ALSS) equipment and facilities.
  2. Record accurate data by completing ALSS checklists and other documents.
  3. Assist in troubleshooting and repairs of ALSS equipment and facilities.
  4. Operate the Life Support System according to ALSS SOPs and manuals.
  5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of chemical drums, storage areas, and workstations.
  6. Ensure safe handling, usage, storage, and disposal of chemicals, toxic substances, and hazardous waste.
  7. Manage tools, parts, materials, and equipment inventory; report missing items and request replenishments.
  8. Complete required trainings and maintain professional development and competencies.

Techincal Scope

  1. Pump Mechanic: Assist in inspections, diagnoses, and major/minor repairs on ALSS pumps, motors, hydraulic equipment, compressors, controls, valves, and related equipment.
  2. Filtration Mechanic: Assist in troubleshooting and repairing critical animal life support equipment, filtration systems, valves, heat exchangers, pumps, motor, fractionators, ozone systems, UV sterilizers, and seawater lines.
