POSITION SUMMARY

Our Utility Cleaners play an important role in support of a number of vital hotel functions. At our hotels, these associates may work across departments (e.g., kitchen, food and beverage) to support cleaning needs. Whether operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools (e.g., dish washing machines, hand wash stations, and dryers), or transporting dishware, these associates do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Responsibilities:

  1. Overall responsible for the daily water production and distribution.
  2. Ensure the bottling room is clean and disinfected at all times.
  3. Coordinate with the contractor for all maintenance and chemical refill.
  4. Maintain the inventory of all elements of the water bottling room including machines, water produced, labels, and glass bottles.
  5. Coordinate with other departments for the accurate and required distribution of water produced.
  6. Ensure all documentation is accurate and updated at all times.
  7. Fill the bottles as per the set standard, fix the cap, and paste the sealing sticker with production and expiry sticker.
  8. Ensure the departmental consumption, production, expiry date, and trolley number are recorded in the log.
  9. Safely operate bottle wash machine and water dispenser.
  10. Maintain the highest standard of personal hygiene.
  11. Possess an EFST (Essential Food Safety Certificate) to work as a food handler.
  12. Report all breakages on time and maintain records in the concerned area.
  13. Report any deviations from the standard to the immediate supervisor.
  14. Create a safe workplace, follow company policies and procedures, uphold quality standards, and ensure professional appearance and communication.
  15. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
  16. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
  17. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  18. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: No related work experience.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

License or Certification: None.
