HR Business Partner Lead

As an Assistant Manager of Human Resources, your primary responsibilities will include:
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
- Sourcing Candidates: Identify and source potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, recruitment agencies, and employee referrals.
- Interviewing: Conduct interviews, assess candidates' skills, and determine cultural fit for the organization.
- Onboarding: Coordinate and assist with the onboarding process, ensuring new hires have the necessary tools and information for a successful start.
Employee Relations
- Conflict Resolution: Mediate and resolve conflicts between employees, helping to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Employee Engagement: Implement initiatives to engage employees and boost morale, such as feedback surveys, recognition programs, and team-building activities.
- Performance Management: Support performance review processes, provide feedback, and assist managers in addressing performance issues effectively.
Training and Development
- Identify Training Needs: Help identify training and development needs across departments and ensure training programs are tailored to those needs.
- Training Coordination: Organize and facilitate employee development programs, workshops, and skill-building sessions.
- Career Development: Promote career growth by assisting in succession planning, mentoring, and offering opportunities for employees to advance.
Compliance and Legal Knowledge
- Labor Laws: Understand and ensure compliance with relevant labor laws, such as those governing wages, benefits, workplace safety, and discrimination.
- HR Policies: Ensure the organization's policies and practices are in line with applicable laws and industry standards, and update policies when necessary.
- Data Protection: Ensure employee data privacy and compliance with data protection laws, such as GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
Compensation and Benefits
- Payroll Management: Oversee payroll processing, ensuring that salaries and benefits are correctly administered and that there are no errors.
- Benefits Administration: Assist in the management of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Salary Benchmarking: Ensure the organization's compensation packages are competitive within the industry to attract and retain talent.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Clear Communication: Effectively communicate HR policies, changes, and expectations to all levels of staff.
- Empathy and Listening: Understand employees' concerns and provide appropriate support and solutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with department heads, managers, and external vendors to ensure HR initiatives are aligned with the organization's goals.
Organizational and Time Management Skills
- Multitasking: Juggle multiple HR tasks at once, such as conducting interviews, managing benefits inquiries, and supporting training programs.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure all HR documentation, employee records, and compliance paperwork are accurate and up-to-date.
- Prioritization: Effectively manage competing demands, ensuring high-priority issues are addressed promptly.
Employee Wellness and Health Programs
- Workplace Well-being: Assist with the creation and promotion of wellness programs, including mental health support, ergonomic initiatives, and work-life balance.
- Employee Assistance Programs (EAP): Promote programs that offer employees support in dealing with personal or professional challenges, including counseling and financial advice services.
