Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for IT hardware, software, and ELV components to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Identify new suppliers and technologies to enhance our ICT and ELV offerings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with IT and ELV suppliers, negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing agreements.
  • Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular supplier evaluations to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and department heads to forecast procurement needs for ICT and ELV systems.
  • Create and maintain procurement plans and schedules to support project timelines and budgets.
  • Monitor and control procurement costs for ICT and ELV systems, identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Conduct regular price benchmarking and analysis to ensure competitiveness.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT and ELV procurement transactions, contracts, and supplier communications.
  • Generate reports on procurement KPIs, performance metrics, and cost savings for management review.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Purchasing Officer or in a similar role, with at least 3 years of UAE experience in ICT and ELV procurement.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, sourcing strategies, and contract negotiation techniques in the ICT and ELV domains.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, e-procurement platforms) used in the IT and ELV industries.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions in IT and ELV procurement.
  • Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is desirable.
