Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Planning Assistant to join our team at HALCON. As a key member of our planning department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement daily reports on material availability, delivery schedules, and production plans.
  • Collaborate with planners to address BOM errors and extend material masters.
  • Evaluate material consumption for consumables and prepare purchase requests based on production plans.
  • Receive inputs from other departments to update planning data in material masters.
  • Support planners in creating production BOMs and routings.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure shop floor consumables are available.
  • Analyze Bill of Materials, capacity build plans, production schedules, and make necessary adjustments to adapt production plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2+ years of experience in material/production planning, inventory management, purchasing, or a related position.
  • Proficiency in ERP, MRP systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with SAP MM, QM, and PP modules.
  • Strong understanding of master data management.
  • Experience with SAP MES.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of industry-related experience in planning assistant roles using SAP as an operating system.
