The role of a Teller at TD involves delivering exceptional customer service while processing financial transactions face-to-face. This includes routine to complex transactions.

  • Provide legendary customer experiences by consistently executing appropriate behaviors.
  • Engage in needs-based conversations and offer financial solutions to meet customers' needs.
  • Makes quality referrals to relevant partners.
  • Meet individual performance metrics.
  • Make sound decisions and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Independently resolve issues, escalating complex cases to management.
  • Process transactions for customers, including account servicing, loan payments, safe deposit box payments, gift card sales, check cashing, currency verification, cash drawer balancing, and night deposits.
  • Balance ATMs and Teller Cash Dispensers/Recyclers as needed.
  • Adhere to safe deposit box procedures and guidelines.
  • Service lobby and drive-thru customers.
  • Accountable for cash drawers and vaults, maintaining appropriate cash limits and securing cash.
  • Ensure confidential customer information is stored securely throughout the day.
  • Understand and follow dual control principles.
  • Comply with regulations, policies, and procedures, such as the Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act.
  • Complete required training by established due dates.
  • FOLLOW SECURITY AND AUDIT MEASURES TO MINIMIZE LOSS.
Education & Experience

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 6 months of related experience.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • General math skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • The ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
