Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a highly experienced Landscape Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the contractor's compliance with project standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain records of contractor resources, including human and equipment daily activities.
  • Conduct site supervision and inspections as required or instructed by the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer.
  • Liaise with the contractor to ensure effective resource management, health and safety, and equipment needs on site.
  • Prepare daily reports to the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer, including works orders, materials delivery, and daily inspections program.
  • Implement site instructions made by the Resident Engineer and Assistant Resident Engineer, and apply quality controls and quality procedures.
  • Coordinate and cooperate with the client project manager during site inspections.
  • Monitor contractor QA/QC activities and maintain relevant records.
  • Assist in the preparation of correspondences in compliance with contract documents and site requirements.
  • Resolve site problems promptly in collaboration with the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer.
  • Monitor the start-up, commissioning, and handover of site works, including maintaining records of project milestones.
  • Audit inspections for conformity to contract documents and contractor-submitted plans.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in similar projects.
  • Middle East experience preferred.
  • Relevant experience in construction supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical degree and/or equivalent.
