**Job Description: Landscape Inspector**

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that landscape construction is progressing according to approved plans and specifications. Verify that grading, planting, irrigation, and other landscape elements are installed correctly and in compliance with the design.
- Attending to Inspection Requests (IR's) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action in a timely manner.
- Review and analyse landscape plans, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements. Verify that all required permits and approvals are in place before construction begins.
- Review submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international best practice.
- Monitor the quality of materials used in landscape construction as well as identify and address any deviations from the approved plans or specifications.
- Report any works carried out by contractor found to not be in accordance with approved drawing and specifications and report to stakeholders for appropriate action.
- Monitor quality of works and assess the safety at site including health and environmental issues, ensuring compliance with contractual / QCS specifications and safety and health risk assessments.
- Maintain records for daily activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are readily available for inspection as and when required.
- Prepare surveillance report(s) for deficiencies of work found at site and non-conformance reports (NCR) if required in view of the development of events.

**Qualifications /Requirements**:

- Degree in Engineering (Agriculture, Irrigation or related course).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Construction Supervision of landscape and/or irrigation works.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ensure that client’s expectations are met within the limits of the contract agreement requirements.
- General knowledge of other related disciplines
