About the Opportunity

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Rider Performance Manager to join our team at talabat. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and improving the performance of our riders in allocated zones within a city.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and analyze rider performance data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance compliance and efficiency.
  2. Lead the recruitment and onboarding process for new riders in allocated zones, ensuring a smooth and effective transition into the team.
  3. Supervise and manage a team of Rider Coordinators and/or Rider Captains, providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting performance targets.
  4. Manage the rider roster, allocating shifts, breaks, and off-days to optimize performance and minimize downtime.
  5. Collaborate with the Rider Trainer and Rider Supervisor to develop and implement training programs that enhance rider skills and knowledge.
  6. Conduct regular audits to ensure riders are adhering to company policies and procedures, and provide coaching and feedback to improve performance.
  7. Develop and implement performance improvement plans to address underperforming riders, and work with the team to identify and address any systemic issues.
  8. Monitor and respond to customer complaints related to rider performance, working to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
  9. Conduct regular on-ground visits to audit fleet appearance and rider behavior, providing feedback and coaching to improve overall performance.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as business administration or operations management.
  2. 1-2 years of experience in the food/grocery tech industry, preferably in a role related to operations or management.
  3. Proficiency in Google Suite tools, including GDoc, GSheet, GSlides, and GForms.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and develop effective solutions.
  6. Experience in people management, with a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
