At Interactive Digits, we require an experienced Senior Accountant to support our finance team. This role involves utilizing your technical skills in Tally and Excel to process financial transactions, manage vendor accounts, and prepare financial statements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports with accuracy and compliance.
- Manage vendor accounts, perform reconciliations, and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Monitor receivables, follow up on outstanding balances, and ensure timely collections.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and accounting records.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts to support business growth.
- Analyze financial trends, variances, and provide insights for cost control.
- Support management with financial modeling and strategic planning to achieve business objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, AP/AR, and financial reporting.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Tally and other accounting software.
- Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and other formulas).
- Knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
