Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Eye Specialist to join our dynamic team at Talent Shark. As a Pediatric Eye Specialist, you will specialize in diagnosing, treating, and managing eye conditions and diseases in children from infancy through adolescence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of pediatric patients' eye health and visual capabilities.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric eye conditions, including refractive errors, strabismus, amblyopia, congenital eye abnormalities, and genetic eye disorders.
  • Perform surgical procedures when necessary, such as strabismus surgery, pediatric cataract surgery, and other pediatric ophthalmic surgeries.
  • Prescribe corrective lenses, medications, or other therapies as appropriate.
  • Monitor patients' progress and response to treatment, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including pediatricians, optometrists, and orthoptists, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Educate patients and their families about eye health, treatment options, and preventive measures.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Residency training in Ophthalmology.
  • Fellowship training or extensive experience in Pediatric Ophthalmology.
  • Board certification in Ophthalmology with specialization in Pediatric Ophthalmology preferred.
  • Valid license to practice medicine in Dubai, UAE.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with patients and their families.
