The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of neonatal physiology, pathology, and management of critical neonatal conditions. They will be proficient in interpreting neonatal diagnostic tests, including blood gases, ultrasounds, and other relevant investigations. Additionally, they will be an expert in administering advanced neonatal life support, including intubation, ventilation, and medication management. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) operations and management. They will also have proven ability to educate medical students, residents, and fellow neonatologists, as well as effective communication skills with parents, families, and other healthcare professionals. Leadership skills are also essential, as the candidate will be required to lead a neonatal team and contribute to departmental quality improvement initiatives. To be considered, the candidate must meet the following requirements:

* MBBS/MBChB or equivalent qualification
* American board/ Canadian board/ Australian board/ South African board or evidence of equivalent qualification (Tier 1)
* Full registration (and a license to practice) as Consultant Neonatology not Pediatrics (or eligible for registration within six months of interview)

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in the same capacity, with clinical and academic experience in a known university hospital. The work location is Dubai, UAE.
