We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Offshore Rigger to join our team at IIQAFGROUP. As an Offshore Rigger, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining rigging equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations on offshore platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and Maintain Rigging Equipment: Operate and maintain rigging equipment, including winches, hoists, and other lifting devices, to lift, move, and position equipment and materials on offshore platforms.
  • Inspect and Maintain Equipment: Inspect and maintain rigging equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation, and perform routine maintenance tasks as required.
  • Follow Rigging Plans and Procedures: Follow established rigging plans and procedures for lifting and moving heavy loads, and ensure compliance with company safety standards and procedures.
  • Communicate with Team Members: Communicate effectively with crane operators, riggers, and other team members to ensure safe and coordinated operations.
  • Monitor Load Movements: Monitor load movements and maintain proper rigging tension and angles to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Ensure Compliance with Safety Standards: Ensure compliance with company safety standards and procedures, and participate in safety meetings to contribute to a culture of safety awareness and best practices.
  • Assist with Maintenance and Repair: Assist with the maintenance and repair of rigging equipment and systems, and perform other tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Experience and Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an offshore rigger, and valid rigging certification or equivalent training and experience.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of rigging principles, equipment, and safe practices, and knowledge of offshore operations and safety protocols.
  • Physical Demands: Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy loads in a safe manner.
  • Communication and Teamwork Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
