Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a CNC Machinist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in career development and human resources, with experience in designing and implementing career development strategies.

Key Tasks
  • Designs, develops, and leads the implementation of career development strategies to enhance student outcomes.
  • Sets the foundation for career development activities throughout the year, aligning with institutional goals and objectives.
  • Provides expert guidance and advice to students on job search techniques and effective communication with employers.
  • Develops students' skills in creating cover letters, resumes, and conducting interviews, preparing them for the workforce.
  • Liaises with student clubs and organizations to deliver targeted career development initiatives, addressing their specific needs and interests.
  • Collaborates with higher education institutions to identify, design, and deliver educational/training programs that benefit students.
  • Facilitates work-based learning experiences, assessing student performance through resume and interview evaluations.
  • Contributes to the administration of career and academic assessments, utilizing insights to inform student career choices.
  • Promotes the Student Employment Initiative and supports the organization of job fairs, fostering connections between students and potential employers.
  • Supports other tasks assigned by the Dean, contributing to the overall success of the institution.
Requirements
  • Three years of experience in career development/human resources and youth development/training.
  • Proficient user of MS Office Suite, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
