Job Description

At Abroad Work, we are currently seeking a skilled Staff Nurse to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in the Labor and Delivery Unit.

About the Role:

  1. As a Staff Nurse, you will work closely with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care throughout their stay.
  2. You will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based practices to achieve optimal health outcomes.
  3. In collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, you will provide education to patients and their families on various aspects of care, including pain management, breastfeeding, and postpartum care.
  4. Your expertise in labor and delivery will enable you to provide critical care during this high-risk period, ensuring that mothers and babies receive timely interventions when necessary.
  5. You will also play a vital role in maintaining accurate records, communicating effectively with colleagues and patients, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives within the unit.

Requirements:

  1. We require a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and at least 3 years of experience in a large hospital or rehabilitation facility within the Labor and Delivery Unit.
  2. A strong background in providing individualized care to patients with varying medical conditions is essential.
  3. Candidates must be willing to work 12-hour shifts or 48 hours per week and be available to join our team immediately.
  4. Please note that only candidates based in the UAE will be considered due to the current situation.
