Our Expectations

We are looking for an experienced IT Solutions Expert to join our team at BlackStone eIT. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing effective DevOps solutions that align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecture Evaluation: Assess current software architectures and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • DevOps Practices: Implement DevOps practices to increase collaboration between development and operations teams.
  • CICD Pipeline Creation: Create CI/CD pipelines that automate the software deployment process.
  • Documentation Development: Develop architecture documentation and best practices for DevOps processes.
  • Infrastructure Management: Manage the implementation of infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Tech Guidance: Provide technical guidance and mentoring to development and operations teams.
  • Tool Recommendations: Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies for continuous integration, delivery, and monitoring.
  • Solution Scalability: Ensure the solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.
  • Decision Reporting: Document and present architectural design decisions to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect with a focus on DevOps.
  • Cloud Platforms: Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Containerization: Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • CI/CD Tools: Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
  • IaC Tools: Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Scripting: Solid scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience in Agile development methodologies.
  • Adaptability: Ability to quickly adapt to new tools and technologies.
  • Availability: Available to start immediately and commit to the 2-month contract duration.
