About This Role:

This Technology Strategist position plays a critical role in shaping our IT landscape by designing, developing, and implementing robust technology solutions that meet our business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software development methodologies, system architecture, and cloud computing platforms, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities:

  1. System Architecture: Develop end-to-end solutions that leverage modern technology to solve complex business problems.
  2. Technology Selection: Analyze and select the best technological solutions and tools based on our needs, considering factors like cost, scalability, and compatibility with existing systems.
  3. Integration: Ensure seamless integration of new applications with existing systems, including on-premises and cloud-based infrastructures.
  4. Project Leadership: Lead solution architecture initiatives from conception through to implementation, including defining project scopes, objectives, and deliverables.
  5. Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, translating business requirements into technical solutions and explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  6. Security and Compliance: Ensure all solutions adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and policies regarding security, privacy, and data protection.
  7. Documentation: Produce high-quality documentation including architecture diagrams, system designs, and integration plans.
  8. Performance Optimization: Monitor, analyze, and optimize the performance of enterprise systems to ensure they meet performance standards and SLAs.
  9. Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within our IT landscape.
  10. Mentoring: Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  2. 10+ years experience
  3. Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of implemented solutions.
  4. Deep understanding of software development methodologies, system architecture, and cloud computing platforms.
  5. Proficiency in system design, including data modeling, API design, and microservices architecture.
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities.
  7. Experience with project management and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
