Order to Cash Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our Majid Al Futtaim family, who will spearhead our Order to Cash (OTC) processes in the West Region. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial services, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving process improvements.

Job Purpose:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the OTC Team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer payments, and resolving any discrepancies or queries.
  • They will work closely with the MAFP Business leaders to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • The role will also involve developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Implementation:

  • Lead the OTC Team to achieve excellent service quality, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Business teams to ensure seamless execution of customer transactions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Provide expert advice on financial matters, including accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Monitoring:

  • Ensure timely closure of books at various intervals.
  • Foster a culture of transparency and open communication within the team.
  • Lead in maintaining, amending, and communicating OTC policies and procedures.
  • Recognize and escalate potential issues/risks to Tower Lead.
  • Work with OTC Tower lead to ensure SLA metrics targets are met and implement actions to improve process performance with Continuous Improvement Leader.

Team Management:

  • Execute approved improvement initiatives implementation.
  • Manage training programs for the team in conjunction with OTC Tower Lead.
  • Facilitate communication and coordinate activities between BU and GS.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A minimum of 8 years' post-qualification finance experience in a similar role in a shared services organization.
