Key Responsibilities
  • Take room service orders over the phone and via in-person requests
  • Answer questions about menu selections and communicate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate orders
  • Notify guests and management of delays in service delivery and communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, and special requests to the kitchen
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day and record transactions in our MICROS system
  • Process all payment methods and complete closing reports, including MICROS reports
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • No related work experience required, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time and move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a food and beverage or hospitality role
  • Supervisory experience is not required, but a strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team are essential
