Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Operations Manager to join our team at Nathan HR Human Resources. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering accounting outsourcing services to clients, as well as supporting internal financial requirements.

About the Role

This is an essential position that ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with UAE regulations, and optimizes financial operations. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our finance function.

Responsibilities
  • Accounting Outsourcing Services:
    • Manage end-to-end accounting and bookkeeping services for a portfolio of clients, ensuring adherence to UAE accounting standards.
    • Oversee client financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    • Liaise with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored accounting solutions.
    • Maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for finance-related queries.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis:
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for clients and internal management, ensuring compliance with IFRS and UAE regulatory requirements.
    • Perform detailed financial analysis to provide insights on profitability, cost management, and cash flow optimization.
    • Support management with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for strategic decision-making.
  • Internal Financial Support:
    • Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations for internal company requirements.
    • Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and prepare VAT returns for timely submission.
    • Collaborate with auditors for annual audits and address any audit queries.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with UAE tax laws, regulations, and international accounting standards.
    • Implement internal controls and financial processes to mitigate risks and enhance accuracy and efficiency.
    • Stay updated on changes in UAE financial regulations and advise management accordingly.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting outsourcing and financial management, with UAE-specific experience.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Estimated Salary Range:

AED 120,000 - AED 180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

The salary range is competitive and commensurate with industry standards for similar roles in the UAE market.
