Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at GHD. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing structural systems for various building and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop structural systems for buildings and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with local authority design requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Review and provide input on engineering designs, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Manage and mentor junior engineers and BIM technicians to ensure successful project execution.
  • Contribute to the development of project documentation, including reports and technical specifications.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in building and infrastructure projects, with a focus on structural engineering.
  • Proven experience in designing and specifying building structures in steel, concrete, and masonry, to American and British Standards.
  • Familiarity with local UAE authority design requirements.
  • Experience in delivering projects from design through completion in a multi-disciplinary and/or multi-office project execution environment.
  • Proficiency in structural engineering software, including CSi ETABS, SAFE, Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis, STAAD, and Prokon.
  • Strong background knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit software, with ability to carry out coordination and reviews through Revit.
