Job Description

KBR, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Structural Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Analysis: Proficiency in the design and analysis of steel structures, concrete structures, equipment foundations, pipe-racks, and technological structures.
  • Building Design: In-depth knowledge of building design, including conventional and blast-resistant structures.
  • Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering: Knowledge of soil mechanics, earthworks, geotechnical, and foundation engineering.
  • Structural Assessment: Ability to assess and check the adequacy of existing structures, including pipe racks, buildings, equipment foundations, etc.
  • Transportation Infrastructure: Knowledge of design of roads, paving, culverts, and bridges.
  • Underground Drainage Network: Understanding and design knowledge of underground drainage networks.
  • Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience in using industry-standard software, including STAAD PRO, ETABS, MAT3D, FDN3D, PROKON, AUTOCAD, etc.
  • Code Compliance: Knowledge of national and international codes and standards, as well as industry practices (ACI, AISC, ASCE, BS, BS EN, ASTM, ADIBC, IBC, PIP, S DEP, etc.).
  • ADNOC Specifications: Knowledge of ADNOC Specifications (AGES, DGS) is preferred.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in design and analysis of steel and concrete structures.
