Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Consultant to join our team at ghd. As a key member of our environmental team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality environmental projects and services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior team members to deliver projects in environmental impact assessment, planning, and management, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Plan and execute environmental field works, including marine ecological surveys, soil, groundwater, air, and noise sampling, data management, and technical reporting.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulators to identify new business opportunities and grow existing client relationships.
- Manage and coordinate environmental projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and high-quality deliverables.
- Develop and implement effective project management strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members, promoting their growth and development within the team.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant environmental regulations, policies, and best practices, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Approximately 6-8 years of experience in a consulting environment, with a proven track record in environmental project management.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, or a related field.
- Excellent technical writing, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulators.
- Proven business development, networking, and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to mentor and develop junior team members to promote team growth and success.
