Job Summary

A typical qualifying background for this role would include experience in CCTV level installation, repair, replacement, and maintenance of related security systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install security systems components, units, and printed circuit boards following instructions from the Project Engineer, e.g., cameras, motion detectors, electronic locks, etc.
  • Install structured cabling for various systems, i.e., CCTV, Access control, Intrusion detection, etc.
  • Install and service various Intrusion, CCTV, and Access Control Systems in both commercial and high-end residential environments.
  • Travel to various customer sites performing installation and service work.
  • Be a highly motivated self-starter capable of working independently as well as in group settings.
  • Be well organized and able to multi-task.
  • Have good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have experience using test electronic equipment for reading voltage, e.g., digital multimeter.
  • Be experienced and able to use hand tools and small power tools, e.g., drilling machines, screwdrivers, and cutters.
  • Be able to read and understand technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions.
  • Having prior education, training, and knowledge of basic electronics and security systems, e.g., IP Surveillance, Intrusion detection, Access control, and/or electronic power supplies, are all pluses.
  • Should have the initiative to fabricate parts and cables to ensure successful installation execution.
  • Works closely with the Project Engineer.
  • Should have knowledge of common safety practices.
Requirements
  • High School as a minimum.
  • IT Diploma certification will be an asset.
Work Experience
  • 2+ years' experience in security services companies.
  • UAE Driving License is an advantage.
