We are seeking a highly skilled Application Support Analyst to join our team at Sundus Recruitment and Outsourcing Services, Abu Dhabi. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Actively participate in the development and implementation of operational plans to ensure seamless delivery of IT services.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Teams and Managers to develop strategic plans and business objectives for Retail, Central Operations, and related applications.
  • Oversee the implementation of business plans using best-fit technology, working closely with Project Managers, Technical Resources, and Business Resources.
  • Direct and oversee the analysis of business requirements, development of functional and program specifications, relational database design, programming, testing, implementation, and documentation for Retail and Central Operations applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technological trends and best practices by attending market seminars and industry forums, and implement these in a business-savvy format.
  • Implement short-gap or bespoke systems to ensure continuity in business operations, where vendors are unable to provide suitable solutions.
  • Ensure the application of SDLC Standards by team members.
  • Manage incidents with the assistance of System Analysts and Programmers to resolve them, convert them into known errors, and design escalation procedures.
  • Manage Retail, Collection, and Central Operations applications, coordinate vendor support issues, implement enhancements, and customization.
  • Ensure availability and performance targets are met for all Retail and Central Operations Systems, and maintain optimum service levels.
  • Execute ad-hoc instructions or provide flexibility within ethical and professional standards to achieve exceptional business objectives, internal IT objectives related to client groups, and international expansion.
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate professional qualification, typically graduate plus 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience as a technical team lead in the banking domain, preferably FinnOne.
